What is Devoted Family Solutions?

Devoted Family Solutions is a private company licensed through The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to provide Medicaid Waiver Services and Supports in a community-based setting. Devoted Family Solutions serves Adults 18 years and older with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Devoted Family Solutions is incorporated with the State of Virginia.

Devoted Family Solutions uses a person-centered and strength-based approach to provide paramount services. The overall goal of services is to promote acceptance in the normal life of the community in which the Individual resides through social integration and participation in community opportunities. Training activities produce outcomes for the Individual and skills are integrated to appropriate environments.

  • Support individuals in becoming efficient with personal care and activities of daily living such as toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, household chores, food preparation, money management, shopping, etc.
  • Assist/Support individuals with functioning within the community and integrated environments.

Program Admission Criteria:

The individual must have a primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disability. They must have significant limitations in adaptive skills in two or more of the following areas: communication, self-care, home living, social skills, community use, self-direction, health and safety, functional academics, leisure and work.
